There will be something for everyone in this blog so please feel free to comment and provide contributions :) I am particularly interested people's opinions concerning martial arts so please, even if it's in the face of what I just posted, give a comment!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those of you who wish to know about my Karate background, I have been studying the Shotokan branch for 12 years now. At the moment I'm a second dan black belt, and have been for seven years. I love traditional Karate and I'm very critical of sport martial arts. Recently at university I discovered a style unbeknownst to me previously, Shotokai. Since then I have switched to Shotokai Karate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will be providing commentaries and analysis of my training as well as the history of Shotokai in later posts.
